Amazing food only surpassed by the passion and hospitality of the owner-operator. Also, vegans, here is your new favorite plant-based buffet when you’re craving nutrient dense and excellently prepared Turkish fare.

I recently stumbled upon Sofra Kabob House, and I can honestly say it’s one of the best-kept secrets in the area! As a Pakistani, I wasn't familiar with the names of the dishes, but the flavors were absolutely captivating. Every bite was a delightful surprise that kept me wanting more. The buffet was a feast for the senses, showcasing an incredible variety of dishes that were bursting with flavor. I was particularly impressed with the fresh pita bread, which was the perfect accompaniment to the meal. The highlight, however, was the kabob! The owner, who is the kindest person, personally prepares these delicious kabobs, ensuring they are tender, moist, and full of flavor. You can truly taste the love and care that goes into every dish. This place is an absolute gem, and I can't wait to return the next time I’m in the area. Love love love this place! Highly recommend it to anyone looking for an amazing dining experience!

I learned about this place from an r/plano thread where someone commented that the chicken kebab are really tender. My son is a very picky eater and we wanted to expose him to a different type of cuisine. Fortunately it worked, he ate both the chicken drumsticks from the buffet as well as the made-to-order kebabs. I tried a bite of the chicken kebab and agree that it was quite tender. The owner was very friendly and hospitable. We hope to visit again when we are in the area.

The owner was very nice, he welcomed me with a warm smile, introduced me to all the dishes since it's my first time. The food was delicious and the price was awesome, the owner even offered some pita bread. If the only thing I wish the buffet could have lamb options, but I also understand for such an affordable price it would be hard. There are lamb dishes on the menu for separate orders.

First time here, I teach at the local campus. Just FWI compaired to Luna (Chain) The food is much better. I walked in and ordered from the the Menu. 5 stars! enough food for 2 people under $30 with a good tip! I will be back again!

First time here. The price is reasonable with the choices of salad , sweets and meats including lamb, gyro and chicken and more. You can get one kebab skew included for either chicken or beef. It tastes great and very juicy. You can also get drinks like lemonade or ice/hot tea. Highly recommended.

The boss is very warm with his greeting and checking in on how things are. Their Kebab chicken is very juicy and tender, arguably the BEST kebab I have ever had!! Soup tasted good but wish it was a bit less salty. Other items were OK. Overall the restaurant is very clean. Wish locals gave more support to this family-owned restaurant!

Quick lunch stop here during our visit to Dallas. We were very warmly greeted by the owner who explained us the choices. We went with the buffet option which was $15 pp and $8 for the kids. We added Beef kafta kebab and chicken for $3 each. Buffet had pretty good options of salads, falafel, rice, chicken and beef satay and more. We were also served with hot pita. Kebab and chicken both were juicy and flavorful.
